Annual-revision: SRC M4 RIS [ENG]

I have never made a post about durability... It is time!... Maybe is can give some information or advice for players, who want to buy an M4 and hesitating between brands. The gun had been brought more than a year before in 2011 and were used in many games. previous review here! the gun owner is our medic.... you think he shoots a few and durability and usage is only a relative point of view. noooo... it is wrong.. he is a BB-burner with 8 mags.... and running out of ammo after a minute :D

In the hungarian review I've stated, that the SRC is better, more durable and reliable than the most common owned brand in Hungary, the Boyi/Dboy. During the short lifetime of the gun we didn't recognize any failure or feeding problem. After the disassemble the internals are still in perfect condition. But.... the nozzle is worn a bit as seen on the photo. Fortunately this little wear has no bad effect for feeding.

I always recommend to replace the piston for a full metal teeth one because it has always serious problems after many thousands of BB's but in the SRC it has only a little worn.  My opinion, this piston will fight one more year perfectly ( I need to write that the gun runs on 11.1V lipo and 1000+ rpm so the parts need to wear big stress)

The gun shoots 390fps with the factory SRC m120 spring, and running smoothly...
This SRC is the third in my team and we are  satisfied with the accuracy and performance. Hitting man size target from 50meter/160ft is an easy job for the gun
In facts:
-Stock high torque motor can pull anything
-GB contains any "tuning" internals out of the box, you should change in any other M4 GB during battles to keep your gun alive.
-The switch can handle the high voltage lipos without burning down

but, there are some CONS after the PROS.
-the hop up arm with its in-built nob is useless. It make not enough hop for BB's. I serviced SRC M4s and G36s and this always was a big problem... you need to replace it for a "standard" hop up arm/nob
- there is a gap between the upper and lower receiver.... and it doesn't matter how you assemble the gun. It's ridiculous.

To keep the "advice" in focus I can write my very subjective opinion or conclusion:
-the reliability of the M4/M16 series is always a big question but  the SRC M4 is a very good quality taiwan made airsoft gun. It is reliable and capable to run on high RoF without any failure. The GB tuned very well and carried excellent quality parts. Beside of a good internal, you find a good looking external with rigid body and beauty coating.... just the little gap makes us disappointing.
-Compared with the Dboy, this gun is much better internally and functionally too

Question: Should you buy an SRC M4?
Anwer: YES, absolutely yes.
